Over the last seven years, fans of AMC's hit series Mad Men have followed Vincent Kartheiser (aka Pete Campbell) as his style evolved from the buttoned-down Eisenhower era to the Swinging 'Sixties. EDGE Magazine [www.edgemagonline.com] has brought Vincent into the present with an exclusive fashion shoot at the Virginia Robinson Estate in Beverly Hills. Kartheiser also sat down with Editor at Large Tracey Smith for an extensive Q&A as Mad Men prepares to air its final episodes early in 2015.
Also in the current issue of EDGE are interviews with Mad Men co-stars Harry Hamlin (Jim Cutler) and Rich Sommer (Harry Crane). EDGE, published by Trinitas Regional Medical Center, is New Jersey's leading lifestyle, health & wellness magazine.
"We are a regional magazine with a national following," says EDGE co-publisher and Trinitas Marketing VP Doug Harris. "That gives us the ability to work with major entertainment figures, and devote space so Vincent, Harry and Rich could develop their thoughts and tell their favorite stories. It's a win-win, especially for our readers."
The current Book Smart Issue also celebrates great reading and writing, with a profile of famed food author Alan Richman, heritage rose expert Stephen Scannielo, and NJ mystery writer Jane Kelly. The magazine's Family section features a story on the importance of literature in the middle school curriculum, as well as a list of the 25 books all New Jerseyans should have in their homes. There are also two pages of gift ideas for dedicated readers.
EDGE's popular Health & Wellness section features the first installment of Ask Dr. D'Angelo. Dr. John D'Angelo, the Chairman of Emergency Medicine at Trinitas, answers parents' questions about sending kids off to college. The Health section also covers the latest in technology an ingestible, pill-sized camera that takes detailed pictures of the entire digestive system.
EDGE Magazine (www.EdgeMagOnline.comTwitter @EDGEMagNJ) is published five times per year by Trinitas Regional Medical Center. More than 75,000 copies are sold and mailed, regularly reaching over 300,000 readers in central New Jersey.
