Ludacris and Terry Crews To Star In JOHN HENRY  Image

According to Deadline, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges and Terry Crews have been cast in the forthcoming thriller drama JOHN HENRY. Jamila Velazquez, Ken Foree, Tyler Alvarez, and JJ Soria are also set to star. Read more about the casting news from Deadline here!

The film comes from Will Forbes, who will direct the picture as well. He co-wrote the picture with Doug Skinner. Crews will star as Henry, whose character has traded a life of violence for one of serenity. However, he must evaluate if he is to return to his old ways when Bridges' character, his former gang leader, is after two immigrant children.

Crews is known for his roles in BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, DEADPOOL 2, SORRY TO BOTHER YOU, and THE LONGEST YARD. Bridges is known for his illustrious career in music, as well as his role in THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS franchise. The upcoming film is set to be produced by Defiant Studios' Eric B. Fleischman, Automatik's Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and Kodiak's Maurice Fadida.
