According to The Hollywood Reporter, 'Lost' alum Zuleikha Robinson has joined the cast of Showtime's HOMELAND in a recurring role. The drama series second season is set to premiere on September 30.
According to the report, a spokesman for the Showtime network has confirmed that the 34-year-old actress will appear on the upcoming season playing a character described as "a Middle Eastern woman and field journalist named Roya Hammad who has ties to the terrorist organization. Her path will cross with Brody (Damian Lewis) when she delivers an ultimatum."
Robinson portrayed plane crash survivor Ilana Verdansky on the ABC drama series Lost. Her TV credits also include HBO’s Rome. On the big screen, the actress has appeared in Hidalgo, The Merchant of Venice and The Namesake.
