The impressive list of performers on what promises to be one of the most Unforgettable nights honoring Mexican music continues to grow with Los Tigres del Norte, Diana Reyes, Kevin Ortiz, Los Primos MX, and Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez to perform at the 2013 Billboard Mexican Music Awards. They join previously announced performers Joan Sebastian, Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizarraga, Gerardo Ortiz, Roberto Tapia, Banda Los Recoditos, Julion Alvarez y su Norteño Banda, Calibre 50, Los Inquietos del Norte, and Roberto Junior y su Bandeño. The only awards show on a major network that honors Mexican music will broadcast live on Wednesday, October 9 at 7pm/6c from the renowned Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

Los Tigres Del Norte are the undisputed legends of Norteño music, with a repertoire of more than 500 recorded songs over the course of nearly 60 albums, and over 35 million albums sold around the world. Diana Reyes is the leading Duranguense music female act, affably called "the Queen of Pasito Duranguense." Kevin Ortiz, the younger brother of Gerardo Ortiz, is one of the most promising and widely popular newcomers in Mexican music. Los Primos MX, previously known as Los Primos de Durango, are famous for masterfully blending music genres. Under the new name, the group has evolved professionally, attaining commercial success and accolades for their recent work. Mariachi Sol de Mexico de José Hernandez is one of the premiere mariachi organizations in the world with a tradition dating back to 1879. Honored by Jalisco, México for their contributions to the artistic medium of mariachi, they represent mariachi with pride and dignity.
