Liv Tyler Signs On to Season Two of Hulu's Period Drama HARLOTS

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Liv Tyler has signed on to Season Two of Hulu's period drama HARLOTS. The actress most recently appeared on the small screen for three seasons on HBO's THE LEFTOVERS.

Set in 18th century Georgian London, the series centers on the Wells family, led by matriarch Margaret, portrayed by Samantha Morton. Tyler will take on the role of Lady Isabella Fitzwilliam, described as "the aristocratic social butterfly whose long-held SECRETS keep her in the thrall of Lydia Quigley (Lesley Manville). She is an increasingly desperate victim of Lydia's blackmail. Trapped in a loveless marriage, Lady Fitz will find an unexpected friend and ally in courtesan Charlotte Wells (Jessica Brown Findlay)."

Tyler's film credits include THAT THING YOU DO, THE LORD OF THE RINGS and ARMAGEDDON. A premiere date for Season Two of HARLOTS has not yet been announced.
