Lionsgate Promotes Kristine Klimczak to Executive Vice President and Assistant Treasurer

In a move positioning its finance operations to reflect the Company's continued worldwide growth, Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), a premier next generation global content leader, has promoted 25-year accounting and finance veteran Kristine Klimczak to Executive Vice President and Assistant Treasurer and appointed Kate Davies to the position of Senior Vice President of Accounting and Finance.

Ms. Klimczak will be responsible for Lionsgate's global cash financial planning and debt management and will report to Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Barge in her new capacity as Assistant Treasurer. She will also oversee certain operational accounting and worldwide cash management functions under the leadership of Chief Accounting Officer Rick Prell.

Ms. Davies will assume Ms. Klimczak's former role of Senior Vice President and will be tasked to manage procure to pay automation initiatives and day-to-day accounting operations. She previously served as a consultant for Lionsgate and worked closely with Ms. Klimczak on the implementation of the Company's expense reporting system and accounting initiatives.

Ms. Klimczak joined Lionsgate in February 2005 as Vice President of Finance. Prior to Lionsgate, she held progressively responsible accounting and finance positions in both technology and entertainment companies. She graduated from the University of Michigan Business School and earned a CPA while working in public accounting for three years.

Before joining Lionsgate, Ms. Davies worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment for over a decade in their Information Technology department where she held a number of successive roles that culminated in the position of Vice President. At Sony, she managed the company's procure to pay solutions, its international television advertising billing and their global cash flow forecasting application, among other things.
