Because Lindsay Lohan's reenactment of Liz Taylor's performance wasn't enough in LIZ & DICK, Lifetime is set to develop a four-part miniseries based upon the infamous Egyptian queen, Cleopatra.

CLEOPATRA will follow the life and suicide (according to some historians she did it by injecting snake venom into her blood) of the historical beauty and last Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt, exploring her rocky relationships with Julius Casesar and Mark Antony.

The project, a deviation from the standard Lifetime fare, comes from NUMBERS' Robert Port. Michael Goldstein and Mike Larkin are set to produce. As of now, no director or cast is attached to the just-announced project.
