Liam Neeson Stars in Upcoming 'Unknown White Male' Film

Two-time Tony Award nominee Liam Neeson will star in the upcoming film, "Unknown White Male." Variety is reporting that Neeson will be joined by actresses January Jones and Diane Kruger for the film, which will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, most recently of Orphan notoriety.

Neeson will star as a doctor who suffers a car accident, resulting in memory loss. When he wakes up from his coma, his wife cannot recognize him and is living with a man who has stolen his identity. He sets out with the aid of oNe Young woman to figure out what has happened and prove his identity. Filming is set to begin in Berlin in late January.

Neeson has had a prolific career both on and off stage. He began his Broadway career in Anna Christie as Mat Burke, a role for which he won a 1993 Theatre World Award and was a Tony Award nominee for Best Actor in a Play. He went on to star in The Judah Kiss as Oscar Wilde and The Crucible as John Proctor, a role where he again received a Tony Award nomination and a Drama Desk nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Play. Neeson also starred as the Mystery Guest Star in the 2003 The Play What I Wrote. Neeson is also noted for his film career, playing roles such as Oskar Schindler in Schindler's List, where he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor, Qui-Gon Jinn in the recent Star Wars films, and as Alfred Kinsey in the 2004 film Kinsey. Neeson was married to the late Natasha Richardson.
