Hollywood Reporter has announced that Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes are set to star in Warner Bros./Legendary's Greek-God remake "Clash Of The Titans."
Neeson will play Zeus (king of the Gods) and Fiennes will play Hades (ruler of the underworld.)
Mads Mikkelson, Gemma Arterton and Alexa Davalos are also set for the production. Shooting will begin this month in the U.K.
Neeson was last seen on the big screen in the film 'Taken', while Fiennes last starred in 'The Reader.'
Hollywood Reporter states that "The deal marks Neeson's first since the tragic death of his wife, Natasha Richardson. The deal was initiated before her death."
"Clash Of The Titans" tells the story of Perseus, the son of Zeus, who wins the hand of the Princess Andromeda in marriage. But trouble appears in the shape of Calibos, the princess's former love, and his mother, the Goddess Thetis and in order that the Kraken not be released, Andromeda has to be sacrificed. To save his love Perseus searches for the Medusa whose head is the only thing that can stop the Kraken.
