NBC's late-night lineup has delivered ratings wins for the week of September 27-October 1, as "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" out-delivered all cable and broadcast entertainment competition in the time period in adult 18-49 viewers and total viewers.

For the week, "Tonight" increased its margin of victory over CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" to 10 percent (1.330 million adults 18-49 vs. 1.214 million), up from 7 percent for the prior week and 5 percent for the same week last year. In total viewers, the "Tonight" margin over "Late Show" for the week was 9 percent (3.861 million vs. 3.555 million), reversing the order for the same week last year, when "Late Show" won by a 66 percent advantage.

At 12:35 a.m. ET last week, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" led CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" by a 3 percent margin (738,000 vs. 715,000), matching its year-ago advantage. In total viewers, "Late Night" cut the "Late Late Show" lead last week down to 4 percent (1.771 million vs. 1.695 million), versus a 36 percent advantage for "Late Late Show" during the same week last year.

For the week at 1:35 a.m. ET, "Last Call with Carson Daly" (0.4 rating in 18-49, 0.2 in 18-34) finished within a tenth of a rating point of ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and CBS's "Late Late Show" in 18-49 despite starting two hours later than "Kimmel" and 90 minutes later than "Late Late Show." Versus the same week last year, "Last Call" was up 13 percent in 18-49 viewers (497,000 vs. 440,000) and up 24 percent in total viewers (998,000 vs. 806,000).
