Legendary Jabberwock, Lethal Humanoids Set For Sept Syfy Saturday Movies

David Hewlett (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) and Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager) confront deadly humanoids, while Battlestar Galactica's Tahmoh Penikett battles the legendary Jabberwock, in Syfy's September Saturday Original Movies.

Jabberwock, premiering Saturday, September 10, at 9PM (ET/PT), features the horrifying Jabberwock (from the classic Alice in Wonderland stories by Lewis Carroll), a black-eyed winged monster with the body of a dragon and the head of a gruesome insect. In the movie, a peaceful man (Tahmoh Penikett) wields the all-powerful Vorpal sword to rescue the woman he loves -- taken by the Jabberwock into its hideous lair. Jabberwock, a production of American World Pictures, also stars Kacey Barnfield (Resident Evil).

In Morlocks, premiering Saturday, September 24, at 9PM (ET/PT), a scientist creates a time traveling devIce That transports people into a desolate future overrun by lethal humanoids, the Morlocks. Unfortunately, the creatures figure out how to transport themselves back into present day, triggering a race against time between human and humanoid. Starring Hewlett and Picardo, Morlocks is a production of UFO Films.
