Lea Michele to Appear on June Cover of 'Women's Health'

Actress and Broadway veteran, Lea Michele, is featured on the June 2010 cover of 'Women's Health' magainze. Lea joins GLEE castmates, Matthew Morrison and Mark Salling, who have also been featured in June magazines. The newest issues of Vogue and GQ include spreads from both Morrison and Salling, respectively. Lea's issue of 'Women's Health' is available on newsstands now! To see the cover, here.

In the mag, Lea talks about her vegan diet routine, family, and (lack of) plastic surgery. According to her interview with 'Women's Health', Michele's vegan diet was inspired by the book, 'Skinny Bitch' which "slapped her in the face". At just 8 years old, Lea Michele made her Broadway debut as "Young Cosette" in "Les Misérables." Since then, Michele has shared the stage with Broadway greats Audra McDonald and Brian Stokes Mitchell in "Ragtime" as well as Alfred Molina and the 20th anniversary cast of "Fiddler on the Roof."

Best known for her role as "Wendla" in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of "Spring Awakening," Michele was nominated for a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical for her performance. She was recently nominated for a Teen Choice 09 Award in the Choice TV: Breakout Star Female category.

Michele has also performed at Radio City Music Hall during the Tony Awards with the casts of "Spring Awakening," "Ragtime" and "Fiddler on the Roof." Michele is featured on the cast recordings of these productions. She was last seen as "Eponine" in the star-studded production of "Les Misérables" at the Hollywood Bowl, directed by Richard Jay-Alexander. She has performed solo concerts to sold-out crowds at Feinstein's at Loews Regency in New York and at the Upright Cabaret in Los Angeles.

On the small screen, Michele has appeared on "Third Watch" and "Guiding Light." She is 22 years old and currently divides her time between New York City and Los Angeles.Recent winner of the People's Choice Award for Best New Comedy and Golden Globe winner for Best Television Series Comedy or Musical, GLEE, the new musical comedy series, follows an optimistic teacher who - against all odds and a malicious cheerleading coach - attempts to save McKinley High's Glee Club from obscurity while helping a group of aspiring underdogs realize their true star potential.

The show, which also garnered Golden Globe recognition, stars Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Jessalyn Gilsig, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Kevin McHale, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison, Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Jenna Ushkowitz.
