Laura Niemi to Guest Star on Upcoming Season of TNT's RIZZOLI & ISLES

Laura Niemi plays Dr. Carla Dalton, a scientist who has dedicated her career to curing a life-threatening genetic disorder while seeking her missing nephew who she believes could be suffering from this disease. Airing sometime this August, Niemi joins the cast in the episode entitled "Cold As Ice." Rizzoli & Isles begins its season on Tuesday, June 25th @ 9/8C on TNT.

Though this is Ms. Niemi's first time on the TNT network, she has guest starred on numerous TV shows such as Castle, Weeds, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds, Private Practice, Hollywood Heights and was a series regular this past year on the pilot presentation comedy Order's Up. She can be seen in the upcoming comedy horror film Chastity Bites which premieres on Saturday, June 1st at the Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood as part of the Dances With Films festival.

Also, look out for her this fall in the highly anticipated Steve Jobs biopic, JOBS - where she plays Steve Job's secretary opposite Ashton Kutcher and Dermot Mulroney.
