LETS MAKE A DEAL 1 delivered 3.14 million viewers, its best weekly average since the week ending Feb. 10 while THE PRICE IS RIGHT 1 averaged 4.80 million viewers, its best week since the week ending March 31, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 16.
Additionally, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS (which just celebrated 29 consecutive years as daytime's #1 drama) delivered 4.60 million viewers, its second largest weekly audience of the season. The daytime series, currently in its 44th season, began its winning streak the week of Dec. 26, 1988.
On LET'S MAKE A DEAL, audience members dress up in outlandish costumes to get host Wayne Brady's attention in an attempt to make deals for trips, prizes, cars or cash, while trying to avoid the dreaded Zonks.
