LATE SHOW Tops TONIGHT SHOW in Adults 18 - 49

CBS's LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN topped "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and tied in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 7.

LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN posted a 2.4/06 in households with an average of 3.32m viewers. LATE SHOW was up +20% in adults 18-34 (0.6/02 from 0.5/02), even in both adults 25-54 (1.2/04) and adults 18-49 (0.9/04) compared to the same week last year.

LATE SHOW beat "The Tonight Show" in both adults 18-49 (0.9/04, vs. 0.8/03, +13%), adults 18-34 (0.6/02 vs. 0.5/02, +20%) and tied in adults 25-54 (1.2/04, each).

Season-to-date, LATE SHOW leads "The Tonight Show" in adults 18-49 (0.9/03 vs. 0.8/03) and is tied in adults 25-54 (1.2/04, each).
