The American Cinema Editors have announced the nominations for the 67th annual ACE Eddie Awards. The annual awards ceremony honors outstanding editing in 10 categories of film, television and documentaries. Winners will be announced at the ACE awards ceremony, taking place on Friday, January 27 at the Beverly Hilton.

As previously announced, J.J. Abrams will be honored with the ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year award at the ceremony.

About the EDDIE Awards: Since 1951, American Cinema Editors has celebrated the best in television and feature film editing at the annual ACE Eddie Awards gala. More than a thousand of the entertainment industry's most accomplished editors, filmmakers and Hollywood elite attend the black-tie event held each year at the famed Beverly Hilton hotel. A prelude to the Oscars, the Eddies are considered a barometer for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Best Picture and Best Editing categories.
