Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids, Ghostbusters), Maya Rudolph (SNL, Bridesmaids, The Maya Rudolph Show) and Haley Joel Osment (Entourage The Movie, Tusk) have joined the formidable cast of IFC's six-part comedic miniseries, The Spoils Before Dying. Wiig and Osment also appeared in the first installment of the Spoils franchise, The Spoils of Babylon, which aired on IFC last year and earned Wiig an Emmy™ nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Miniseries. Currently in production, The Spoils Before Dying will make its television debut this summer on IFC.

Also returning in new roles are Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex), Val Kilmer (Batman Forever), Steve Tom (Major Crimes) and Marc Evan Jackson (Brooklyn Nine-Nine). New cast additions to The Spoils Before Dying include Kate McKinnon (SNL, Ghostbusters), Tim Meadows (Marry Me, SNL), Chris Parnell (30 Rock, SNL), Emily Ratajkowski (Gone Girl, We Are Friends), Andrew Daly (Review, Comedy Bang! Bang!), Chris Mulkey (Whiplash, Twin Peaks), Chin Han (Marco Polo), Jack Kilmer (Palo Alto), Patty Guggenheim (Casa de mi Padre) and Bérénice Marlohe (Skyfall).

"We couldn't have asked for a more talented cast to usher in the sophomore season of this miniseries," said Jennifer Caserta, IFC's president. "We're also thrilled to have so many of last year's Spoils cast members returning for Jonrosh's latest adaption, particularly Kristen Wiig who received an Emmy nomination for her hilariously epic performance."

Michael Kenneth Williams (Boardwalk Empire, The Wire) was previously announced as Rock Banyon, a struggling jazz pianist at the center of this pulp-noir murder mystery. Will Ferrell (Get Hard, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues) also reprises his role as Eric Jonrosh, the literary auteur turned director who opens and closes each spellbinding episode of his latest lurid television adaption.

Set in 1962 during the height of the Los Angeles jazz scene, The Spoils Before Dying follows Rock (Michael Kenneth Williams) as he becomes the Prime Suspect in the double murder of singer and his occasional lover Fresno Foxglove (Maya Rudolph) who is found dead in a car with another man. Panicked, Rock splits town for Mexico where he reunites with his one-time big band singer Delores O'Dell (Kristen Wiig). Determined to prove his innocence and avoid the electric chair, Rock and Delores head back to the U.S. on a dangerous journey for the elusive truth. All the while, Rock's hard charging manager Alistair St. Barnaby (Haley Joel Osment) obliviously pressures Rock to record a mainstream jazz album.

The Spoils Before Dying is produced by Funny Or Die and executive produced by Ferrell, Adam McKay, Matt Piedmont, Andrew Steele and Nate Young. Steele and Piedmont return as writers, with Piedmont also directing.
