Kim Kardashian & Jurnee Smollett Set for Tyler Perry's THE MARRIAGE COUNSELOR

Kim Kardashian and Jurnee Smollett have been cast in Tyler Perry's movie version of his play, THE MARRIAGE COUNSELOR, according to Deadline.com.

The piece centers on Judith, an Ivy League-educated marriage counselor who cannot solve the issues within her own marriage.

Jurnee Smollett will play Judith, while actress and reality TV star Kim Kardashian will play her friend and co-worker, Ava.

Perry was most recently seen on stage in his play, MADEA'S BIG HAPPY FAMILY. His films include the "Madea" film, "For Colored Girls," "Meet the Browns," and "Why Did I Get Married Too?"
