The irrepressible Katt Williams is back. After a three-year break the ever-outrageous, outspoken comic returns to the stage with the highly anticipated KATTPACALYPSE, premiering Saturday, August 25th at 10:00 pm (ET/PT) on SHOWTIME. The explosive performance was filmed live on New Years' Eve before some 7,000 awaiting fans at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. In the one-hour special, Williams takes to the stage like a championship boxer, riffing on everything from Doomsday, how President Obama gets rid of terrorists, "stepping-stone" relationships, N.A.S.A., Mitt Romney, not "clearing" Herman Caine, the recession, and the Michael Jackson murder trial.

Born and raised in Ohio, Williams is known around the country for his animated, physical performances, quick wit and eclectic hairstyles. He began his career as a teen and quickly discovered his gift for making people laugh. Inspired by comic greats Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Bill Cosby, George Carlin, Whoopi Goldberg, Jerry Seinfeld and Dave Chappelle (whom he calls the "Malcolm X of comedy"), Williams has made his mark in Hollywood for the past 10 years on stage and in film and television. His credits include hit comedy specials It's Pimpin' Pimpin' and American Hustle, Friday After Next (where he played "Money Mike"), NYPD Blue, UPN's Girlfriends, Cuts, My Wife and Kids, Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam (alongside Dave Chappelle and Mike Epps) and as an animated character (A Pimp Named Slickback) on the popular adult animated series The Boondocks.
