Katie Holmes to Star in Female-Driven Action Film DOORMAN

Variety reports that Katie Holmes will star alongside Jean Reno in female-led action-thriller DOORMAN.

DOORMAN will follow the story of a Marine who struggles to return home after witnessing extremely traumatic events on the job. In an attempt to get back to normal life, she becomes a doorman in a New York apartment building. But, she soon learns that people are after the building and the valuable art that's inside and her instincts kick back into gear as she serves her country one more time.

One producer of the film, Jason Moring, talks about the film and how it gained such star power.

"'Doorman' is not only a smart thriller but action-packed, which is why it attracted such strong talent," he said.

DOORMAN is currently in pre-production. Ryûhei Kitamura will direct the film.
