Following the very public fallout with the Trump administration over a controversial photo taken after the 2016 election, comedian Kathy Griffin is back with an all-new show and fans are eager to hear about the aftermath.
After announcing return performances on REAL TIME WITH Bill Maher last week, Griffin tweeted a message of shock and excitement today, celebrating her Carnegie Hall show selling out in less than a day!
Griffin announced eight new North American tour dates this week, in addition to performances at Carnegie Hall and the KENNEDY Center announced on Maher's show last week.
Griffin received support from showbiz friends including music legend Bette Midler following the announcement. Midler tweeted, "Congratulations and welcome back! You were in Show Biz jail longer than the Stanford rapist was in real jail!"
I just found out that my Carnegie Hall show sold out in a day. I'm in shock. For most of the past year I was convinced that my career was over...I have felt moments of despair that I can't describe in a tweet. Thank you from the bottom of my heart...I am so grateful.
