According to Deadline, former PRIVATE PRACTICE star Kate Walsh has officially signed on for Ross Clark's upcoming independent thriller DERMAPHORIA.
Walsh joins Joseph Morgan, Ron Perlman, Walton Goggins and Nicole Badaan for the project based on Craig Clevenger's novel.
The film will follow "a brilliant chemist (Morgan) who wakes up in jail after a drug-lab explosion and is suffering from amnesia. Trapped between cops who want to arrest him and heavies who want the formula buried deep inside his head, he needs to piece together memories fragmented by a powerful new drug and find his missing girlfriend."

Walsh is best known for her role as Dr. Addison Montgomery on GREY'S ANATOMY and PRIVATE PRACTICE. She has also appeared in PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER, and can next be seen in Courteney Cox's HELLO I MUST BE GOING. Walsh has also signed on for Neil LaBute's ensemble drama on DirecTV FULL CIRCLE.
