The Broadway Channel® and International Media present BROADWAY PROFILES a one hour special and first of a series premiere airing on Public Television stations nation wide, in late May and mid June during national pledge week. The series is hosted and narrated by Broadway's Kate Shindle, most recently starring in Legally Blonde the Musical.
Broadway Profiles series offers viewers the best seat in the house to the heart and soul of America's premier entertainment venue, Broadway. Exhilarating performances and insightful behind the scenes interviews provide unique access to the stars that light up the great white way. It is the "best of the best" that Broadway has to offer.
Kate Shindle takes viewers on a tour of great performances and behind the scenes insights from some of Broadway's most talented stars.
Broadway Profiles series premier "Women of Broadway" features Tony award winner,

BROADWAY PROFILES will support the mission of public television stations nation wide by providing stations with free tickets to touring Broadway shows and events that support the partnership of local PBS stations and Broadway touring shows. This will encourage viewers to support their local PBS stations while enjoying their favorite Broadway shows on tour in their communities.

Executive Producer: Gustavo Sagastume has produced and been executive producer on hundreds of hours of programming in many genres during his public television career as writer, producer and executive. Most recently he served as Execu tive Producer for the PBS special THE OSMOND FAMILY 50TH ANNIVERSARY REUNION, CELTIC THUNDER and the upcoming PBS special DAVID GARRETT LIVE IN BERLIN. His national music production credits for public television include ANDRE RIEU: THE VIENNA I LOVE, YANNI: LIVE AT THE ACROPOLIS, GYPSY KINGS: TIERRA GITANA, JOHN TESH: LIVE AT RED ROCKS, GAEL FORCE: LIVE AT THE HOLLYWOOD PALLADIUM. During his tenure as Vice Presi dent of Programming for PBS he developed CELTIC WOMAN and commissioned hundreds of music pledge specials.
