Justin Timberlake Wants to Play The Riddler in Next BATMAN Film

Regardless of your personal opinion on Ben Affleck's casting as the new Batman, one thing is for sure. It caused a stir. And now that Batman needs a villain Justin Timberlake would love to fill that role, according to USA Today .

The singer recently voiced his approval of Affleck's casting, saying: 'I worked with Ben last summer and I've seen his process. I think he's a brilliant filmmaker. I think he's an extreme talent so he could surprise a lot of people."

Timberlake has already ruled out an appearance as the Boy Wonder, Robin. 'Not a chance in hell...I ain't playin' Robin. I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie. Now VILLAIN! Ill tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funny enough, is the Riddler. The Riddler is my favorite villain.'

He cites the Riddler's crazy tendencies as the reason he wants to play the character, formerly taken up by Jim Carrey. 'The Riddler was like a sociopath...He was proper crazy. So if I'm gonna play crazy, I'm wanna play proper crazy.'

The comic book world is sure to explode with reaction to this with many hating or loving the potential casting. It remains to be seen whether Timberlake's wish will be granted.
