Justin Lin's Perfect Storm Entertainment has signed exclusive overall TV development pact with Apple, according to Variety.
The director-producer has spent his last six years with Sony Pictures TV. During that time Perfect Storm created "Scorpion," "S.W.A.T." and the reboot of "Magnum P.I." for CBS.
Andrew Schneider has come on board to run Perfect Storm Entertainment TV as a part of the deal. Schneider was previously the head of TV for multiplatform production company Free Association.
Lin is best known for reviving the "Fast and the Furious" franchise with 2006's "Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift." He's currently working on the ninth installment of Universal's series of films.
