OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and Discovery Networks International announced today global superstar Justin Bieber will be featured in a special episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter" airing in more than 100 countries worldwide. The interview first premieres on Sunday, November 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network and will then air throughout the world on DNI's female flagship channels TLC, Home & Health and Real Time, beginning Sunday, November 25.
Last night, Winfrey attended Bieber's sold-out Believe concert at the All-State Arena in Rosemont, Illinois and got a special backstage look at how one lucky young lady among thousands of "Beliebers" was chosen to go on stage for Bieber's signature "One Less Lonely Girl" performance.
Winfrey and Bieber then sat down today at RL Restaurant in Chicago for a revealing discussion, one of the most in-depth interviews the singer has ever agreed to do. Bieber opens up to Winfrey about his growth as an artist, the pitfalls of fame and living in the spotlight. Later, the two go holiday shopping together at Chicago's Ralph Lauren and Bieber surprises onlookers with an impromptu acoustic performance.
For the first time ever, "Oprah's Next Chapter" is airing to audiences across portions of DNI's footprint around the globe. Beginning on Sunday, November 25, "Oprah's Next Chapter" featuring Bieber will be rolling out to viewers of DNI's female flagship channels, TLC, Home & Health and Real Time, across more than 100 countries including Latin America on TLC, on Monday November 26 in CEEMEA (Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) on TLC, and in Asia Pacific on Home & Health as well as a special simulcast across TLC's Southeast Asia feed, and on the 26 and 27 in Western Europe on TLC, Real Time and DMAX.
