Global music superstar Justin Bieber, a two-time Grammy-nominated artist, helps ring in the holidays live on "The View," WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET) on ABC, it was announced today by executive producer Bill Geddie. The 17-year-old singer, who is currently promoting his first Christmas album, "Under the Mistletoe," is confirmed to perform live. Bieber was the first music artist ever to make two consecutive appearances with music performances on "The View" (March 2010). This will mark his fourth appearance.

During his June 23, 2011 appearance, Bieber walked out with hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd and joined them for "Hot Topics." He was also victorious during a Segway scooter race against co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck on "The View" set.

Bieber is also kicking-off his ambitious "Believe Charity Drive" and will donate a portion of the proceeds from the November 1st holiday release, "Under the Mistletoe," to charity. Additionally, he is calling on fans to contribute to seven specific charities, launching an ambitious effort to raise millions of dollars in total donations. The charities to benefit are as follows: Pencils of Promise (www.pencilsofpromise.org); Project Medishare for Haiti (www.projectmedishare.org); City of Hope (www.cityofhope.org); Make-A-Wish Foundation® (www.wish.org and www.worldwish.org); Boys & Girls Clubs of America (www.bgca.org); Musicians On Call (www.musiciansoncall.org); and the GRAMMY Foundation® (www.grammyintheschools.com). Bieber chose these organizations for their emphasis on education, youth wellbeing and, of course, music. Contributions will also be made to additional localized charities in certain international markets.

"The View" features Daytime Emmy Award-winning hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. It's the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues, share their opinions and engage in colorful conversations. "The View," broadcast in HDTV and produced in 2-channel stereo sound, is now available to watch online daily at 4:00 p.m., ET/1:00 p.m., PT on the ABC Digital Full Episode Player at ABC.com. "The View" is produced by ABC Daytime and Ms. Walters' Barwall Productions, with Ms. Walters serving as executive producer along with Bill Geddie, who also serves as executive producer for "The Barbara Walters Specials." "The View" is directed by Mark Gentile.
