Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the concert hall, Film Concerts Live! announces Jaws in Concert, the fourth in their series of blockbuster films by legendary director Steven Spielberg developed especially for presentation in concert venues with symphony orchestras performing the entire musical scores live to picture. A joint venture of IMG Artists and The Gorfaine/Schwartz Agency, Film Concerts Live! is currently touring both E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and Raiders of the Lost Ark as film-with-orchestra concert presentations, with performances in dozens of cities including Tokyo, Sydney, Toronto, London, Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. In November, they will premiere Jurassic Park in Concert with four sold-out performances at the renowned Royal Albert Hall in London, with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra performing the score live. Jaws in Concert will be given its world premiere by the Boston Pops Orchestra in early summer of next year.

Jaws was only the second film in what has become a 42-year artistic collaboration between director Spielberg and composer John Williams, and earned Williams his first Academy Award® for Best Original Score. "It's thrilling for both Steven and me to realize that this unique film still captures the imagination of viewers after so many years, and that audiences now can enjoy the movie live in concert, accompanied by a great orchestra," said the composer. "This is the greatest possible reward for the joyous and fun-filled task of making it."

FCL producers Steve Linder and Jamie Richardson are thrilled to bring Jaws to concert halls around the globe. "After four decades, Jaws remains one of the most influential and recognized film scores in Hollywood history," said Richardson. "Being able to relive the heart-pounding excitement audiences felt on opening weekend in July, 1975, but in a large concert venue with a live orchestra is something no one should miss," added Linder.

Jaws in Concert is licensed by Universal Studios Licensing, LLC. For more information about this and other Film Concerts Live! productions, including Star Trek Live, Star Trek Into Darkness Live, Back To The Future in Concert, and Home Alone in Concert, please visit www.filmconcertslive.com.
