According to Variety, it appears that "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" will have a victory over "Insidious: The Last Key" and "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" at the box office this weekend.
Jumanji is projected to make around $25 million , while Insidious and The Last Jedi are falling in the $20 million to $22 million range.
The Last Jedi still has a sizeable lead in overall sales, hitting $549.8 million in three weeks, the sixth-highest domestic total of all time. Jumanji has earned $202.4 million in its first 15 days.
"The Greatest Showman" appears to be moving into fourth place for this weekend with about $12 million, and Pitch Perfect 3 looks like it will be fifth with about $11 million.
