Mulatto Saga Star Juliette Fairley is now a frequent commentator on EBRU-TV, a new television network that airs in Europe, Africa and the U.S.
Fairley draws on the financial expertise she developed in her day job as a registered financial planner and writer. "All these years that I've been acting in film, tv and theater, I kept a day job on Wall Street that helped fund my productions. Because of that experience, I'm now a tv personalityin the finance area. I'm pleasantly surprised," said Fairley whose stage play the Mulatto Saga is now a short film that will air nationally on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and the CW networks in August as part of a television syndication deal with Badami Productions.
On air since January, Fairley's position as financial analyst on EBRU-TV is flexible enough to allow her to continue to pursue acting. Last week, Fairley wrapped the role of lawyer in Kamal Robinson's independent feature film Fight.Dance.Sing and the role of newscaster in Dennis Liu's feature film Plurality.
"I can see myself snagging a tv hosting deal from this commentator gig on EBRU-TV. In the meantime, I am still seeking a director and backers to produce my story The Mulatto Saga into a feature film by Summer 2012," said Fairley who is also a frequent commentator on
Better Home & Garden TV.
