Josh Stamberg to Guest Star on ABC's CASTLE This February

As first reported on TVLine.com, actor Josh Stamberg of Lifetime's 'Drop Dead Diva', will be making a guest star appearance on the hit ABC drama CASTLE during the all important February sweeps period.

Stamberg will appear in a two-episode story arc of the show. Series creator Andrew W. Marlow describes his role as “an intelligence officer that ends up being very important to the case.”  Also joining the actor in the episodes will be actress Jennifer Beals and Adrian Pasdar. 

In addition to 'Drop Dead Diva', Stamberg’s other TV credits include 'Men in Trees', 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip' and the short-lived Jenna Elfman sitcom 'Courting Alex'. Stamberg's stage credits include 'Distracted', 'Becky Shaw', 'A Steady Rain' at Vassar College's New York Stage and Film festival, and 'The Water Engine'.

Season 4 of ABC's CASTLE returns on January 9th with the wedding of Ryan and Jenny. The series stars Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, Stana Katic as Detective Kate Beckett, Tamala Jones as Medical Examiner Lanie Parish, Jon Huertas as NYPD Detective Javier Esposito, Seamus Dever as NYPD Detective Kevin Ryan, Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle, with Susan Sullivan as Martha Rodgers. Joining the series for Season 4 will be Penny Johnson Jerald ("24") as Captain Victoria Gates - aka "Iron Gates" and as by-the-book as they come - who instantly has an issue with Castle.
