Action-hero star Vin Diesel took to Facebook this week to reveal that actress Jordana Brewster is set to return for FAST & FURIOUS 9 and FAST AND FURIOUS 10. Diesel also teased that Jeremy Lin, who directed the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth installments, will also helm the next two films in the popular franchise.
Shares Vin Diesel: "You wanted 9 and 10 to be incredible. We've heard your concerns about the saga and where it needs to arrive in its final chapters."
The ninth installment in the series is expected to hit theaters on April 10, 2020. A currently untitled spinoff, starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham will arrive on July 26, 2019.
The most recent film in the action series, THE FATE OF THE FURIOUS, hit theaters on April 14, 2017, and featured Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges. Charlize Theron, Kurt Russell and Scott Eastwood also starred.
