Johnny Depp Joins Cast of Warner Bros' FANTASTIC BEASTS Sequel

According to Deadline, Johnny Depp has signed on to the cast of the sequel to J.K. Rowling's FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM from Warner Bros. Studio. Eddie Redmayne will once again star in the lead role of Newt Scamander.

The actor will playing a co-starring role in the film to be helmed from David Yates will direct. Filming is expected to begin early next year.

Depp will next be seen in the Kenneth Branagh-directed whodunit Murder On The Orient Express. He will also star in Labryinth, a drama about the murders of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. Other upcoming projects include The Invisible Man.
