John Stamos is best known for his TV roles - "Uncle Jesse" on Full House and Carl on Glee, to name just two - but the actor also has a distinct presence on stage with four Broadway credits under his belt. Next up for Stamos is the Hollywood Bowl production of HAIRSPRAY.
Today, Deadline.com reported that Stamos will add another television credit to his resume: the actor has been cast in the Sony-produced pilot 'Dead Lawyers.'
According to the report, Stamos would play "the hot-shot lawyer in what would be his first series starring role since his stint on ER. The project, envisioned as a legal procedural with a twist, is being pitched to the networks this week."
Stamos, whose next role will be playing the TV Host Corny Collins in HAIRSPRAY, starred on Broadway in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Cabaret, Nine and Bye Bye Birdie and is known for his television work on Full House and ER, as well as on Glee and Law & Order: SVU.
