G & G Talent producer Angela Gulizio has signed award-winning indie veteran John Andrew Gallagher to direct the feature film Brook Hollow Warriors, from a screenplay by Gallagher and Drew Henriksen, based on a story by Gulizio. Brook Hollow Warriors follows the adventures of a HIGH SCHOOL lacrosse team as they uncover a disturbing crime of animal abuse in their suburban town on the North Shore of Long Island, New York in this family-oriented coming of age story.

Gallagher has directed eight features, including the indie classics The Deli (Mike Starr, Matt Keeslar, Gretchen Mol, Ice T, Heather Matarazzo, Brian Kelly, Judith Malina, Debi Mazar, Michael Imperioli, Iman, David Johansen, Burt Young, Chris Noth, Heavy D, Frank Vincent, Vincent Pastore and Tony Sirico), and Blue Moon (Ben Gazzara, Rita Moreno, Alanna Ubach, Brian Kelly, Burt Young, Zach Braff), produced another ten, and is a long-time film acting teacher in some of New York's most prestigious venues, including One on One NYC, Susan Batson Studios and The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre.

His most recent feature as director, the comedy-drama The Networker, stars William Forsythe, Steve Stanulis, Sean Young, Stephen Baldwin, and Alysia Reiner, and has its world premiere on May 17, 2015 at the Soho International Film Festival. The romantic comedy Sam, written and produced by Gallagher, executive produced by the legendary Mel Brooks, premiered at the Nashville Film Festival in April 2015. John also served as executive producer on Kelsey O'Brien's romantic comedy Enchantments, currently on the festival circuit; all three features are in distribution negotiations.

"John is one of the most prolific filmmakers in New York City," says Gulizio, "well known for the caliber of performance in his films, with a proven eye for talent. John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Amanda Peet, Vincent Pastore and Zach Braff are just a few of the stars John has discovered or worked with early in their careers. He is a true actor's director and film guru, and knows just how to bring out the drama, the humor, suspense and heart that I aimed for in my story."

Gulizio represents film, television and stage with credits including One Life to Live, Rescue Me, The Sopranos, Law and Order, Salt, Boardwalk Empire, How to Make it in America, Blue Bloods, Person Of Interest, Elementary and Son of No One, and has provided hundreds of background actors for the films Music and Lyrics, I Am Legend, and The Festival of Light.

She produced the critically acclaimed short film The Mourning After and the award-winning mockumentary Umbrellas Kill.
