John Boyega and Letitia Wright are set to star in Hold Back the Stars, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is an adaptation of the Katie Khan novel of the same name that centers on a man and a woman who revisit memories of their love affair on a utopian Earth while they are trapped in the vast void of space with only 90 minutes of oxygen.
The film will be directed by Mike Cahill, the filmmaker behind the 2014 sci-fi drama I Origins, and the script was written by Christy Hall. Producing the film is Shawn Levy's 21 Laps.
Boyega is best known for his breakout role in Star Wars as Finn. He can be seen next reprising his role as Finn in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: Episode IX.
Wright broke out playing Shuri in the mega-hit Marvel film, Black Panther. She will reprise her role as Shuri in the upcoming Avengers film.
