NBC Sports has announced that its extensive coverage of Super Bowl XLVI will include a postgame LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON to air following the game on February 5th. In addition, Fallon will broadcast four live shows next week from Indianapolis, the site of this year's championship game between the New England Patriots and New York Giants.
The postgame show will be part of NBC Sports 18 hours of coverage of the big event. Also included on the big day will be Costas Tonight: Live From the Super Bowl as well as special editions of NBC SportsTalk: LIVE From the Super Bowl.
On Friday, February 3rd, the fourth hour of NBC's number one morning show, 'Today', will include special reports from weatherman Al Roker and anchorwoman Ann Curry live from Indianopolis. Joining them on game day will be Natalie Morales and Savannah Guthrie.
The network will use its high viewership on Super Bowl Sunday to promote the second season of its popular singing competition 'The Voice' as well as the highly anticipated musical drama 'Smash'.
