TVGuide.com reports that talk show host Jimmy Fallon is being sued for gender discrimination by a former employee. The former staff member claims 'wrongful termination and discrimination'.

In early 2010, Paul Tarascio was let go from NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Parascio maintains he was replaced by an "incompetent" and "less qualified woman." The suit claims that he is not the only male employee to be fired and believes the reason for his termination was because Fallon prefers his staffers to be female.

Tarascio is suing for punitive damages and lost wages. Fallon's reps did not immediately respond to an email asking for comment.
