Jim Parsons Options Film Rights to Michael Ausiello's Memoir SPOILER ALERT

Deadline reports that Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak have optioned the film rights to Michael Ausiello's acclaimed memoir 'Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies.' The BIG BANG actor will reportedly star in the project.

The memoir tells the story of "Ausiello during THE ELEVEN month span between when his partner, photographer Kit Cowan, got a diagnosis of terminal cancer, and his passing. Interwoven is the story of their meeting, falling in love, and the ups and downs over 14 years. After overcoming so many obstacles to find true love, how would they stand up to their biggest challenge?"

The book was published in September by the Simon & Schuster imprint Atria Books and is currently in its fourth printing.
