Actor Jim Klock (Alex & Me, Cloak & Dagger) is on a mission to save his family in the new sci-fi thriller movie, SANTA JAWS, premiering on the Syfy Network as part of SHARKNADO Week on August 14th.

After the fictional comic book character Santa Jaws comes to life, Peter (Klock) and his wife must locate and rescue their two sons before the monster shark destroys Christmas and their entire town.

Klock was excited to portray this average Dad in an extreme situation, "Peter was such a fun character to play because he transforms from a normal suburban father into this no non-sense, war-ready Dad willing to do battle with a beast in order to save his boys! In fact, one of my favorite moments in the film is when I grab a rifle and say: 'It's time to put this fish on ice.' How cool is that!"

Klock recently wrapped a role in Babak Anvari's upcoming untitled thriller feature film for Annapurna as part of an all-star cast including Armie Hammer, Dakota Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Brad William Henke and Karl Glusman. In addition, Klock can be seen in Peter Farrelly's racially segregated Deep-South drama, Green Book, starring Viggo Mortenson and Mahershala Ali; and he will also appear as 'Officer Steve Cafferkey' in the coming-of-age drama, Green Dolphin, executive produced by Keanu Reeves.

This past June, Klock could be seen starring alongside SOCCER SUPERSTAR Alex Morgan in the inspirational family film, Alex & Me, released from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. He also emerged in a recurring role in Freeform's new Marvel live-action superhero TV series, Cloak and Dagger; and starred in the Lifetime made-for-television thriller, Deadly Matrimony.

Previously, Klock starred alongside Keanu Reeves in Oscar-nominated Courtney Hunt's The Whole Truth, appeared in Peter Berg's intense drama Deepwater Horizon starring Mark Wahlberg, surfaced in stoner action comedy American Ultra headlined by Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg, and landed in the Sundance favorite The Stanford Prison Experiment starring Billy Crudup. Klock is also known for his recurring television roles as Detective Chisholm on Fox's SCREAM Queens, Chris Kraft on ABC's The Astronaut Wives Club, and as Detective Ted Bertrand in HBO's critically acclaimed show True Detectives.

Jim Klock is repped by Nick Terry and Molly Hurwitz at Zero Gravity Management (Los Angeles) and L.T.A. (Louisana).
