Comedian Jim Gaffigan is getting serious for his next role. Variety reports that he is set to star in the dramatic thriller ALL THE ANIMALS COME OUT AT NIGHT.
ALL THE ANIMALS COME OUT AT NIGHT tells the story of Cam (Gaffigan), a former computer programmer. He suffered an emotional breakdown after the loss of his job and his family, leading him to become a depressed driver. To earn more money, Cam becomes a personal chauffeur to Mazz, a drug dealer. As Cam continues on a downward spiral, he decides to kidnap Mazz's son in order to collect a ransom.
Robbie Jones, Isabel Arraiza and Tammy Blanchard will also star in the film. Derrick Borte is set to direct. Borte also penned the script along with Daniel Forte.
Gaffigan has a busy schedule lined up. Next year, he will lead the comedy YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR FAMILY with Anna Gunn. It was also announced that he will star in the dramatic film THEM THAT FOLLOW, alongside Olivia Coleman and Walton Goggins.
