Jessica Walter, who can be seen in the upcoming Roundabout revival of Anything Goes as Evangeline Harcourt, will also guest star on the popular CBS sitcom "The Big Bang Theory".
The episode, which is set to air in February, features Walter as "a wealthy donor to the university whose science department causes potential problems for Leonard", reports TV Fanatic.
Leonard is played by Johnny Galecki, whose stage credits include The Little Dog Laughed on Broadway. Walter, best known for her time on Arrested Development as Lucille Bluth, also has extensive stage credits in addition to Anything Goes, including the Encores! concert version of A Connecticut Yankee and Off-Broadway's The Vagina Monologues.
The musical Anything Goes premiered on Broadway on November 21, 1934 at the Alvin Theatre, starring Ethel Merman. The first Broadway revival of Anything Goes premiered on Broadway on October 19, 1987 at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre and received the Tony® Award for best revival. The Roundabout revival will have its opening night April 7 at the newly renamed Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
