Jesse Williams and Jordana Brewster join Jay Baruchel as stars in the indie-horror road trip movie RANDOM ACTS OF VIOLENCE, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film, which is now shooting in Toronto, is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray. The film also stars Niamh Wilson and reunites Baruchel with longtime writing partner Jesse Chabot.
Baruchel is, producing, directing and starring in the film that follows comic book creator Todd Walkley (Williams), who along with his girlfriend Kathy (Brewster), assistant Aurora (Wilson), and best friend Ezra, played by Baruchel, go on a road trip from Toronto to New York City for Comic-Con, only to face adversity along the way.
Baruchel is best known for voice-starring in DreamWorks' acclaimed How to Train Your Dragon movies and for his comedies, This Is the End and FXX's Man Seeking Woman.
