The star power of Silicon Valley Comic Con (SVCC), Steve Wozniak's pop culture and technology expo debuting in March 2016, just multiplied, as more pop culture and technology icons are confirmed to appear at the show. Jeremy Renner ("Mission Impossible," "The Avengers"), Nathan Fillion ("Castle," "Firefly"), Alan Tudyk ("Conman," "Firefly"), Sean Astin ("Lord of the Rings," "Goonies"), Ray Park ("X-Men," "Star Wars: Episode I") and Stan Lee (founder of Marvel Comics) will join previously announced celebrity guests William Shatner ("Star Trek") and Christopher Lloyd ("Back to the Future") at the inaugural event. SVCC will bring top celebrities, film, TV, independent artists, comic books, cosplay, video games, music and technology to the San Jose Convention Center the weekend of March 18-20, 2016.
Attendees will also be able to hear from technology industry pioneers including Astro Teller (visionary head of X Labs, formerly known as Google X) and Danielle Teller (doctor, professor, and author). Andy Weir (author, "The Martian"), Tim Miller (director, "Deadpool") and Adam Savage (host, "MythBusters") are also confirmed to attend. Comic artists Bret Blevins, Olivia De Berdinis, Mick Gray, Scott Koblish, Bob Layton and Liam Sharpe will also be appearing at the event.
"By no means complete, THE LIST of guests and speakers for Silicon Con Valley Comic Con is already so exciting," said Wozniak. "Fans should grab tickets while they still can; we have many more surprises planned to make SVCC an amazing event for everyone!"
SILICON VALLEY Comic Con will feature many exciting attractions in addition to celebrity guests from entertainment and technology. Madame Tussauds will be on site, bringing lifelike wax figures from its attractions around the world. Only at SVCC 2016 will fans be able to see incredible figures of Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Albert Einstein, William Shatner, Henry Ford, Jim Parsons, and Marvel favorites Captain America and Hawkeye all under one roof.
SVCC will also feature an exhibit of collectibles from Rancho Obi-Wan, a museum with the world's largest Star Wars memorabilia collection used to educate and inspire through the force of imagination. The Stan Lee Mega Museum will also be on site to showcase the characters, art, and impact of the living legend.
