Jennifer Lopez in Final Talks to Join Judges Panel on AMERICAN IDOL

As BWW previously reported, in talks to join AMERICAN IDOL's new judging panel are Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am and returning Idol judge Jennifer Lopez.

The Hollywood Reporter now confirms that negotiations are almost complete for Lopez, with a deal "expected to be signed any day now".

will.i.am's attachment to the show is still uncertain. Still, will.i.am and Lopez are reportedly "hilarious together."

IDOL hopefuls will meet Emmy Award-nominated host Ryan Seacrest and the judges, including Keith Urban, who will officially return as a judge for the 13th season, when the auditions travel to Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Detroit, Omaha, Salt Lake City and San Francisco.

American Idol XIII debuts in January 2014 on FOX.
