According to The Hollywood Reporter, American Idol alum and Oscar-winner Jennifer Hudson may be returning to the hit singing competition show's stage.
Sources have revealed that both Hudson and Adam Lambert have been approached to perform alongside former judge Jennifer Lopez on the Season 12 finale episode, airing May 15 and 16 on Fox. As of now, neither star has committed.
In addition, eliminated finalist Lazaro Arbos has reportedly reached out to the world's most notorious diva - Cher - to perform a duet with him. THR notes that she has yet to respond to the request.

Hudson skyrocketed to stardom with her film debut in Dreamgirls, which earned her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Hudson's self-titled debut album won the Grammy for Best R&B Album in 2008. She released her sophomore album, I Remember Me, in early 2012.
