Jenna Fischer Joins NBC's THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA in Recurring Role

Deadline reports that Jenna Fischer, best known for her role as receptionist Pam Beesly in NBC's THE OFFICE, has joined the cast of NBC's dramedy series THE MYSTERIES OF LAURA in a recurring role.

The actress will portray Jennifer Lambert, described as "an attorney and single mom who makes waves for Laura WHEN SPARKS FLY between her character and Laura's ex-husband Jake (Josh Lucas)."

Fischer received an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress and two SAG Awards for comedy ensemble for her work on THE OFFICE. She recently starred in Neil LaBute's off-Broadway play REASONS TO BE HAPPY. Her upcoming projects include You, Me And The Apocalypse opposite Rob Lowe. NBC acquired the British dramedy in 2015.
