Following four sell-out London runs, US comedian, author, and podcaster Jen Kirkman is returning to UK soil for one night with her latest stand-up show 'I Don't Give A F*ck Tour' at the Leicester Square Theatre on Friday 22nd June at 9:30pm.
Jen Kirkman is back in London after popular demand, with some new material. Don't worry, it's not all about American politics - why talk about the orange despot when Jen can talk about herself and her emotional outburst on a silent retreat, the power of turning forty-three, her lifetime fear of nuclear war, and how she was raised to think Jesus is mad at her.
Renowned globally for her "confessional and fearless comedy" (New York Times), Jen's first Netflix Original Comedy Special I'm Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine) was named one of the Top 10 comedy specials of 2015 by Time Out New York, New York Magazine, and The Atlantic, while her most recent Netflix Original Comedy Special Just Keep Livin'? (2017) is currently streaming worldwide.
Jen is a two-time New York Times Bestselling author with her two comedic memoirs, I Can Barely Take Care of Myself and I Know What I'm Doing and Other Lies I Tell Myself; (Dispatches From a Life Under Construction). Also established on the air waves, Jen's weekly podcast I Seem Fun: The Diary of Jen Kirkmanreceives 50,000 downloads a month, was included in Cosmopolitan's 'Top 10 Podcasts You Should be Listening To' in 2015, and is regularly in the Top 100 comedy podcasts on iTunes, continuing the RISE of her prominent online presence with 258,000 Twitter followers.
On screen, Jen is probably best known as long-time writer and round table guest on CHELSEA LATELY (E!), while her other TV writing credits include The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel (Prime Video) and regular appearances on CONAN (TBS), @MIDNIGHT (Comedy Central), THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT (CBS), The View (ABC), THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW (Fox), HARRY (NBC), THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO (NBC), THE LATE LATE SHOW WITH CRAIG FERGUSON (CBS), and Jen is five-time narrator of Comedy Central's DRUNK HISTORY as well as voicing a multitude of characters on Cartoon Network's cult-hit Home Movies. Additionally, Jen has created two stand-up albums including Hail to the Freaks, which hit #13 on the Billboard Charts in 2011, and her debut album Self Help in 2006.
