Jeffrey Donovan Set to Star Alongside Zac Efron in Ted Bundy Biopic

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jeffrey Donovan (BURN NOTICE) is scheduled to star alongside Zac Efron in the upcoming Ted Bundy film EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIL, AND VILE. Donovan joins Efron, along with John Malkovich (PLACES IN THE HEART) and Lily Collins (MIRROR MIRROR).

Donovan will portray John O'Connell, Bundy's first lawyer, who was also one of Utah's top defense attorneys. It was revealed last year that Efron will take on the role of killer Ted Bundy, with Lily Collins playing Elizabeth, Bundy's girlfriend who was completely unaware of her significant others crimes.

EXTREMELY WICKED, SHOCKINGLY EVIL, AND VILE, directed by Joe Berlinger, is currently being filmed in Kentucky and is reported to be released later this year. The film is told through the perspective of Elizabeth (Collins) who refused to acknowledge the crimes of her boyfriend and is written by Michael Werwie.
