Jay Z & Harvey Weinstein Set for Town Hall Discussion Live on Spike TV, Today

Shawn "JAY Z" Carter and Harvey Weinstein join Kalief Browder's family and prominent civil rights activists in a compelling and provocative LIVE Town Hall event, "TIME AND PUNISHMENT: A Town Hall Discussion With JAY Z And Harvey Weinstein," on Wednesday, March 8 at 9:00pm ET on Spike TV.

"TIME AND PUNISHMENT: A Town Hall Discussion With JAY Z And Harvey Weinstein" will air live from New York City leading into the second episode of the critically-acclaimed and groundbreaking series "TIME: The Kalief Browder Story." The special also will air on Spike's sister networks BET at 12:00am midnight and VH1.

Kalief's siblings Akeem, Nicole, Deion, and Kamal will be joined by the family's attorney Paul Prestia and Jenner Furst who directed and executive produced "TIME: The Kalief Browder Story."

The host and panelists will be announced shortly.

"TIME AND PUNISHMENT: A Town Hall Discussion With "JAY Sand Harvey Weinstein" is produced by Casey Patterson Entertainment and Matador with Alex Coletti as Director.

"TIME: The Kalief Browder Story" is a compelling, six-part documentary event series tells the story of Kalief Browder, a young African-American student who spent three years on Rikers Island without ever being convicted of a crime. The series airs on Spike Wednesdays at 10:00pm ET/PT and is executive produced by include Shawn "JAY Z" Carter, Harvey Weinstein, David C. Glasser, Sharon Levy, Chachi Senior, Jenner Furst, Nick Sandow, Julia Willoughby Nason, and Michael Gasparro.
